Oracle Application Server 4.0.7 does not support Java Servlets. However,
there is a JWeb cartridge on OAS 4.0.7. The JWeb cartridge allow you to
write Java application and "Plug" it into the server. However, I wouldn't
use it. The JWeb cartridge will be deprecated in future releases. I think
Oracle is going with servlets.
Oracle Application Server 4.0.8 has a new JServlet cartridge. The JServlet
cartridge provides a runtime environment for server-side Java applications
written with the Java Servlet API Specification 2.1.
