overall, a question of netiquette.

up to now, i did not (try to) unsubscribe from this list, since every
now
and then there are in fact interesting discussions going on.
but, let's be honest, their percentage isn't too high for someone
who is willing to get himself a book or two about servlet programming
and find rather trivial answers on his own.

see, as a member of this list you're confronted with some dozens of
postings every day. i find it rather time-consuming to sort out those
where the sender ran into some minor (and in my opinion off-topic)
problem with html, java's classpath etc.

so here's my question to the gurus:
sylvan asked for more technical resources / mailing lists.
does anyone know about such resources and could they tell us?
