Yeah, sorry about that, I'm guess I'm still venting over that one, but you
wouldn't believe the amount of hassle the issues we've had with the Oracle
driver have caused, and Oracle basically refused to help us even though it
was clearly their driver at fault.  :-(

Note the original subject line says "is best". Even though Oracle's drivers
do work for some, they only thing thats "best" about them as far as I can
see is the price! We certainly had less problems with the third party
drivers...

In summary: avoid Oracle drivers for using Blobs if possible, other than
that they are probably OK.
