The headers (including date headers, if any) you get back are defined in the
HTTP spec, not the servlet spec, since they are HTTP headers. You can download
the HTTP specs, among other places, from http://www.w3c.org or your favorite
RFC archive (HTTP/1.0 is RFC 1945 and HTTP/1.1 is RFC 2616).
