I think you need to catch IOException.
When you close a browser, no interrupt is send to the servlet.A servlet only
comes to know when it tries to write to a non-existant client.For servers that
buffer their output, IOException is thrown when the buffer fills up and its
contents are flushed.
So you can write a finally block and free the resources.
