Peter,
If I understand what you are trying to do I think I have a solution for you,
but I have only seen it on the JavaWebServer2.0.
In the JWS you can create users and groups and assign certain rights for
each user for any particular servlet that that user tries to access. My
suggestion is to create static pages that have a link or submit button to
the servlet you want for that user. You can protect that static page with a
username and password then you can be relatively sure that only the people
that are to use that particular servlet can access it.
