Hi there,
I am also facing the same problem. In my case I am accessing database
(MS-SQL server) from servlet, but the access to the database is not
synchronized. so sometimes I get duplicated rows. That is why I am looking
for a multithreaded solution. Just now I bought Java Servlet Programming
book and I am going through it.
If any one can give few tips on this issue that will be much appreciated.
Thanks.

Subject: Is synchronization needed
hi
I am using servlets in one web applications. As from the servlets
architecture I know after intializing the servlet the remaining calls to
the servlet will be treated as threads.
Is it necessary to handle the synchronization of threads when there are
symultanious access or servlet engine will take care.
regards
prasad
