About Tomcat ... 3.0

Bonjour

I try actually Tomcat, and I have two questions :

1) I have not found the file ( properties or *.xml ) where the name of the home page is marked

For example, if I want that the home page is toto.html or default.jsp, where I have to wrtite that ??

2) How can I work with the tag <servlet> which does not work ??
