I would like to announce that Javacorporate has beta released its
Portal/E-content community source project; a project which is servlet based
and 100% Java.
It is a web-based Enterprise Information Portal System, offering an
electronic resource distribution (ERD) and content management (ECM) for the
global enterprise: built-in security; unlimited channels, unlimited n-level
categories; unlimited resources. In addition to resources such as static
reports, it supports live reports with drill-downs, online forms, and java
programs, integration with BI (business intelligence) tools or any defined
resource etc.
Enables use of servers as distribution points for reports and other
resources created on a wide variety of platforms - unifying & organizing
access to disparate enterprise data sources.
We are looking for companies interested in participating in its beta testing
and/or ongoing community development. The project was largely developed in
partnership with a large multi-national public company. The project is
based on the open source Expresso Framework project as it's foundation.
