I built some classes to do that. I can replace values from a program and from a
ResulSet too.
My html templates look like this.

<!-- <SERVLET TEMPLATE SECTION> -->
  <p>Available balance: @AMOUNT</p>
<!-- </SERVLET TEMPLATE SECTION> -->

If It is interestingly I can publish my sources free on our web site.
