The session hasn't gone anywhere unless you invalidated it or that the browser can't pick it up due to rejecting cookies. You must be doing something in an incorrect manner to not be able to retrieve the session. The other person suggested response.encodeRedirectURL(url) to have you try to encode the session id in the url of every link on your page. This way, if someone doesn't support cookies you can still bind their browser to the HttpSession.

Hi,
When i use response.sendRedirect(url) I loose the session. I went thru the
List archives and some body suggested to use
response.encodeRedirectURL(url) , but also didnt help. Is there any way to
redirect to a html page and still retain the session?
Thanks
