everybody,
i have installed mysql server on linux machine.
I have set the class path.
now every thing is ready for writing a program to access
the mysql database.
I have written a java program that connects to a database
and adds data to tables in specific column.
but my problem is that the
org.gjt....mysql.Driver ... class is found. I have created NewInstance
of it.
but its having some problem in
Connection statement
("jdbc:mysql:/localhost .. ");
how can i solve this ambiguty.
I have installed mm.mysql driver into / (root) directory of linux
and added into .bashrc files.
what to write into connection property. how to set
mysql localhost and database user and password?
Can any body guide me ?
codelet will be most wellcome with some sample
book information.
