Same for me.

Be careful with your environment variables. Make sure the PATH contains the
subdirectory of your new installed Java binaries.

And don't forget to use the "which" command to find out if any symbolic
links are pointing to the wrong version of Java, if existed on the machine
before install.

And don't forget the CLASSPATH variable, or proper use of it from the
command line, if applicable.
