I have what seems
to be a unique problem, as I haven't seen it mentioned on the java-lists
before. Please let me know and forgive me if it is there and I somehow
missed it.
I am running
JavaWebServer 2.0 on a Windows NT platform. It works just fine when I
don't bother trying to activate the Secure Web Service on port
7070.
Following the
instructions, I created a self-signed certificate which placed a file called
"keys" in <server_root>. After doing this I try to restart the
Java Web Server, but everything then fails. Nothing will
start.
I have tried it as
an NT Service, and upon system startup, it still fails to auto-start, as I get
no response on the Admin Server or the Web Service ports (9090 and
8080). Port 7070 for the Secure Web Service is also
non-responsive.
If I rename the
keys file to keys.bak or some other file name and start everything up, it all
works fine except the Secure Web Service is not running.
Has anybody else
encountered this? Is there a fix? Please help by responding with
advice and/or instructions.
