No, I didn't mean for it to be brusque.
I thought I was being helpful by suggesting not one, but two places where
he could get help.

1. From the archive, where any good member of a list should look first.
2. From a book that gives detailed code for solving this problem.

This question about DB is technically off-topic for SERVLET-INTEREST.
I think most people would agree that this E-list has a lot of traffic and
unfortunately most of the traffic comes from DB questions and servlet
engine installation questions, both of which, IMO, should be directed elsewhere.
