Hi Rob,
The following are few examples of Linux Servlet Platforms
* Jrun (allaire) VM on a linux(2.2) platform, combined with
apache webserver
* apache webserver on linux redhat 6.0
* the Red Hat (Server Version) 6.1 Java Web Server
Linux is a good choise. We are a California corporation and also
developing java servlets, our focus is Linux and wireless solutions.
I am at the moment in Finland where Linux was born and where you
find many Linux Top Guns.
We migh be able to collaborate developing email solutions ?
Email market for wireless is huge, there are now over 400 million mobile
phone users with digital SMS short messaging, new digital WAP phones
just came to market, in year 2002 there will be more than 1000 million
mobile users (compare that to number of PCs !).
Chat with guys there in USA and let me know to Finland !
