Not using JSP currently so that does not really apply here.

All works fine if I add the :8000 to the servername. That is how I have
fixed it for now. But, I would like to find a solution as to how to have the
servlets called into action without using the port number as I had it in
IIS3.

Thank for you help.

Allen

have you checked your mappings inside iis? in the properties area there is
a tab called 'home directory' or somesuch. go to that and click on the
'configuration' button. that will show you your mappings--one of which
should be something like:
'.jsp c:\inetpub\scripts\jrun.dll'

here you are telling iis that when it receives a request for a file with the
.jsp extension to pass it along to this dll.
