Hi friends,
Iam facing a very weird problem.
Platform is HTML/Javascript,Servlets(Apache+JServ,JDK1.2.2),Oracle 8.0.5
Iam using Oracle thin driver which supports JDBC2.0 from servlets.
My databse contains Japanese characters, when i use a JDBC2.0
statement(createStatement(int,int)),
and retreive strings using getString, i get hex values whereas if i use
JDBC1.1
statement(using createStatement()) i get the proper string.
Has something been changed with JDBC2.0 that I have been missing out?
ITs urgent so any pointers are welcome.
Thanks in advance.
