Sorry to barge into this wonderful JavaScript conversation, but why did
no-one suggest so far the use of a minimal AWT Java applet on the client
that will take over the display in three ChoiceBoxes, or even Lists?
This is fairly easy to implement, provides total control on communication
back to the servlet(s), flexible contents display and is equally demanding
on client support of technologies.
Isn't this the 'right' way to go about in a Java-oriented, yet server-side
focused mailing list? I've mailed this privately to the original poster,
but I was curious to see why would everybody jump to any other technology
than a pure Java solution...
