Hey!

Yep!  But I don't use an ini file.  The tune goes like this:

Ramma: A helper class that has the DB configuration private parameters.
Lamma:  In your servlet you just instantiate the class.
Ding Dong:  Then use the classes getters for accessing the privite DB parameters.

Ramma, lamma, ding dong,  what was the name of that tune anyway.

E-me, if you are not following, because my suggestion is basic Java and not a servlet 
issue.
