Hi!
java servlets is one of the better solutions , JSP is a similar technology
and uses servlet snippets, while JDBC is the java way of connecting to the
database. All three go well together if u r looking for a Java based web
solution, the other is using microsoft technology..
One of the ways to start would be to refer to the Java Servlet programming
by jason hunter from O'REILLY which covers servlets,jsp,jdbc and more. you
can search java.sun.com for free stuff like the java web server, servlet
API.
