I am presently working on a online trading firm and I have a servlet called
"GetQuote" where the user will key in the stock id and upon the click of the
button, it calls the servlet. I am again calling the same servlet in my
<form action..>. Now, if you want to pass the same value back and call the
same servlet, I guess have the same parameter name when inside the form of
the servlet and call the servlet again.
But the problem in this case is that, the page won't refresh in the same
page it will create new pages. In my case if the user wants to get stock
quotes for 20 stocks, the servlet will call itself 20 times and create 20
pages and hence you would have to come back 20 pages to be back to the MENU.
