Title: RE: Applet-servlet doPost using ObjectStreams and MS Personal Webserver

We are also doing Applet/Servlet communication with serialized objects... I admit that is is a bit slow, but it is mostly acceptable. However, for some queries made to the database, the amount of data to transfer is very large, so we are looking at a way to make the serialization faster...

Do you guys knows ways, tricks or hints that will make serialization faster ? I don't know, like not trying to serialize some classes, or always use basic classes such as Vectors or arrays ?

Maxime.
