On other MACs? With Netscape or with IE?

There is a common difference with a MAC as against any other machine
(well, just about anyway).

The MAC's default browser (IE) doesn't come with an in-built VM. That
means that certain operations that rely on co-operation between the
browser and the VM can't work.

An example of such an operation is Cookie setting which is shared
automagically between applets and the browser with an "in-place" VM
but can't be done on IE-MAC.

There is an easy answer though, if this is your problem.

Use Netscape Navigator for the MAC. That *does* include a VM and will
allow you to do all the things you can normally do.

Alternately, depending on your problem, you may be able to get by
with a trick. Such tricks for gettiong applets and servlets talking
have been discussed recently on this list. Search the archives for me
or Craig McLanahan and you will find the posts.

Hope that helps.
