How can i get the temporal directory path

I wrote this code in my servlet:
    String dirTemp=System.getProperty("java.io.tmpdir");
    out.println("<br><br>Directorio Temporal: "+ dirTemp);

and the response is null...

How can i get the temporal directory path???
