Hello,
we face a problem when migrating our servlets from jrun to
iPlanet 4.0 server:
when a user enters language specific characters like the
german "umlaute" in our forms they are unreadable in the
servlets (e. g. SQL statements generated from this input
fail).
In my opinion this is caused by the server, because everything
else is identical: webbrowser, database
In JRun we found a setting that controls the character set.
Is there anything else in iplanet ? has anyone else made similar
experiences ?
