Title: AW: Sending email from Servlet

Hi !

We use the JAVAMail API and because of the support of standard protocols (SMTP, IMAP, POP3 with the seperated POP3 Provider) you should be able to use it with any mailserver that support these standard protocols (SMTP and POP3 should be supported by any mailserver).

Bye bye

Hi
I have not used Javamail APi but , but What i feel is that, since it
supports the ubiquitous SMTP , any mail server will do as long as it
supports SMTP. Java mail also includes provides for other common protocols
, Like, IMAP and MIME.
You can also down load a POP 3 provider from sun.
In other words you have both, transport and store supported . So
practically , any mail server will work with javamail API.

Rakesh , you can down load java mail from

HTH,
Ritesh
