Maybe the problem here is that individual personal opinion is not what
determines what is most appropriate for this list.  There are policies
that were set by people at Sun, the owners of this list, some of them
arrived at after discussion on the list.  For example, it was decided
that servlet-related job and product announcements are acceptable, as
long as they followed some basic courtesy guidelines (e.g. having to
do with frequency and length).  Also, questions that are not
servlet-related are considered off-topic and are not acceptable.
Please keep this in mind in the future.
