Dear friends,
I am using JRun2.3.3 for NT-4.
Test Browser is IE-5.
My problem goes like this.
I have about 4 servlets being called one after the other
(but not as Servlet Chain) to complete one full transaction.
1. Servlet-1 is calling Servlet-2.
The JRun is throwing a error screen
"500 Internal Server Error" with a message
java.lang.NullPointerException.
If I press the 'Go' button in this screen (next to Adress bar
in IE-5), the correct screen for servlet2 is thrown !!
What could be the problem here ??
2. I call servlet-3 from here. The servlet-3 is called sometimes
correctly,but sometimes it says
"Warning : Page has expired".
Why is it so ? (My timeout is not reached yet).
Interesting point is that these two problems are occuring only after
we started using ConnectionPool class. Again, the same pool class
works fine for stand-alone usage. When I deploy it in JRun, it gives
all the problem (same application without pool class runs fine in JRUN).
I am deploying my entire set of packages in JRun/Servlets directory.
Can anyone help me out ?
Thanks
Raghu.
