since your using the servlets with Database as DB2 if the SQL dosent give you
the solution then ,in your recordset ,refer the field which has this character
,split it and serach for a sigle quote . if exist then store in an array (or
wherever you want to collect and do) else go to the next record.the solution
also rise in the scope of your job u are trying to do.
i had a similar problem but with different objective to get to , and in it i had
to manipulate the same way.
