If you are interested in a Do it yourself solution here are two options--
1) You can send HTML Tables through to a browser using servlets for a simple
html table report.
2) You can also use the setContentType() method of the response to set the
content type to set the MIME type to MS Excel (application/vnd.ms-excel) and
send down HTML Table information. If the client has Excel, the browser shows
the data in Excel. Internet Explorer actually can display it in the browser
as well as cut and paste data directly from HTML to Excel.
I hope this helps!

Subject: REPORTS
I am working on a project called centralized database.
Data loading activities are going on. Once the database is
ready we need to develop reports.
I would like the reports to be taken from browsers like
internet explorer. Please suggest me the best way
of reporting.I should be able to take the reports from
intranet.
Regards
Vamsi.
