Check out the duke's bookstore example on Sun's tutorial site.
It will tell you exactly how to set up an Access database, and
use java to connect to it and perform whatever operation you need.
Thanks,

hi there,
i haven't recieved a mail that tells me exactly how to create a database
either in Access or in Java.
Does Java have facility that prepares a datase to be used by servlets.
Or let's say tell me a better and hich performanced way to get information
and write in formation to databse because it takes a lot of time even i
call it from servletrunner.
and another question is that what is the difference between servlet and jsp.
and last which is the most important i have web site which is consisting of
servlets but there are not juct one servlet and so when a user who is looged
in wants to go to another servlet i have to keep track of his and i don't
want other users who are not looged access that servet.
i would appreciate if i have all the answer
kere
