Well, the first thing to do is to learn a little bit about them. You're
listing these as mutually exclusive alternatives, when in fact it's quite
common to use all three in one solution.
A Servlet is a web server extension (somthing like a CGI script but more
flexible), EJB is a component architecture for distributed business logic,
and RMI is Java's remote method invocation protocol.
