I am pretty new to servlets.
I need to access MS SQL server through my servlets. I
have some doubts in this regard.
1. How unreliable is it to use jdbc-odbc bridge
drivers? Sun does not recommend it.
2. Is there any document,article available which
illustrates on database access through servlets?
3. Are there any special issues (concurrency,
performance, etc.) which need to be attended for
database access through servlets?
4. Is there any generic model for this?
Any pointers to documents and tips on the web would be
gr8
