HI Cem,
           Expected 1 etc errors means there is some or the other syntax
error like the table name is wrong or the field name is error or datatype is
wrong. This is happened to me many times when connecting to databases using
JDBC in my servlets and most of the time it was some or the other Syntax
error. A good thing will be to print out the SQL query before firing it in
System.out.println so that you know exactly what is going to the driver.
Secondly I have always used stmt.executeQuery() instead of executeUpdate()
see if that works for u too.
