Hi, U have to set the jar files which come with jsdk2.1 in the classpath where jdk1.2.2 jar files are included. Also u have to save the servlets in the default directory of the jsdk2.1 i.e. jsdk2.1/examples/web-inf/servlets. Pedro Palos <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: Hi, I'm a beginner using servlets. I have a couple of question and I hope someone could answer them. I have the JSDK2.1 running with JDK1.2.2. I have a couple of examples that i want to compile and run! Can I compile these .java files with jdk1.2.2?, do i need to set different classpaths? Second, after I have the .java file compiled as a .class, where do i need to put these files to run the servlet and from where(e.g. browser or a DOS command) do I call these classes so i can run them. thanks, Pedro Palos ________________________________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free E-mail from MSN Hotmail at http://www.hotmail.com ___________________________________________________________________________ To unsubscribe, send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] and include in the body of the message "signoff SERVLET-INTEREST".
