No problem....agreed that re-posting a question to the list would be pretty
dumb, especially after such a comprehensive answer from Nic [side note: that
dude knows his shit like no other].  Unfortunately I got your post before I
scrolled down my mail and saw that it had already been pointed out to you that
it wasn't my fault and felt like I had to reply to clarify things, not knowing
that others had already done so.

I also agree that the list is too high-traffic and that it'd be more useful if
people minimized off-topic posts.  That said, I've been guilty myself of
posting general java questions rather than servlet-specific ones.  Do you know
of any other lists that are devoted to pure java discussion?
