Hello

I am trying to get a servlet engine working with apache on Debian Sparc Linux.
Last night, I managed to get tomcat-jakarta built. (Previously, I built
jakarta-ant) I was able to run the test script and it didn't report any errors as
suggested in the tomcat README. Also, I am using blackdown JDK 1.2.2.

However, when I started reading the faq/uguide of ../build/tomcat/docs I noticed
it mentioned that apache needs mod_jserv. Is this true? One of the reasons I went
with Tomcat and not apache-jserv was that I could not find a jserv port for sparc
linux.

John
