I have several Servlet books that I can recommend:

Java Servlet Programming by Jason Hunter and William Crawford
(O'Reilly - ISBN 1-56592-391-X)
Developing Java Servlets by James Goodwil (Sams - ISBN 0-672-31600-5)
Core Servlets and Java Server Pages by Marty Hall (Sun
Microsystems/Prentice Hall - ISBN 0-13-089340-4)

I am new to Java servlets and all three of the above books have helped me in
my development.

As to the book you mentioned, I am not familiar with it so I cannot give you
an answer.

As to web sites, here are a few:

        http://java.sun.com...index.html

        http://www.servlets.com

        http://www.servletcentral.com

        http://www.servletsource.com

        http://www.purpletech.com/java/servlet-faq/

        http://www.servletforum.com/

I hope this helps.
