        put this line in your <form  > tag.

< FORM Name=dssds  method = ds  ENCTYPE="multipart/form-data" >

hope it will help u.
Because to display any image from a servlet ,it's content type should be
this.
i don't know more ab't this but i have already implemented this .
if it doesn't work then i will give a code sample which i m using.
