Hi I am new to this list so forgive me for asking a dumb question - if it looks like. I have recently installed the JDSK2.1 and JDK1.3 on Win NT system. When my system is connected in a ethernet network and I run the Startserver from JSDK2.1 directory and then run Stopserver, it works fine. But when my system is not connected in the ethernet, it is standalone, the stopserver does not work. It keeps looking for the IP address which my system got from DHCP server and cannot find it, it is not able to Stop the server. Can some one tell why and where it stores the dynamic IP address. I think the servlets get and send their response to from Webserver on port 80 and servlets use localhost:8080, then why this problem should occur? Thanks, -- Naresh ________________________________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free E-mail from MSN Hotmail at http://www.hotmail.com ___________________________________________________________________________ To unsubscribe, send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] and include in the body of the message "signoff SERVLET-INTEREST".
