Hi,
I have a problem with thin driver. I need some help.
I am trying to access a oracle database from an applet.
I am using a thin driver. I am able to get the connection when i am on the same
machine on which database server and webserver are. But when i try
from a different machine other than that i get error messages like
classnotfound exception: oracle.jdbc.odbc.oracledriver.
so i tried by putting the classes12_01.zip(jdbc driver classes) in the same directory
as the class file, i am getting an error with below message.
java.sql.exception: No Suitable driver.
I am using Oracle8i enterprise edition on windows NT 4.0.
I tried the above with apache webserver and javawebserver 2.0.
I used the same code given with the documentation.
if u need some more details please let me know.
