u can also call the JSP with the querystring appended in form of
?att1=value1&att2=value2

Hi,
     If u are asking about the submit button of a HTML page then you can
pass the parametes as from elements from that HTML page to the JSP page. At
JSP page you can retreive the parametes by request.getParameter() method.
