Hi, Sorry for asking a basic question. I need some advice on designing an application. We are developing a business to business application in which we have to validate the userid and password. We are using J2EE, servlets and Beans. * Can you please advice me where to take care of the authentication, i.e, in servlet code thru' connection to data base or in the J2ee server using realmtool. Which one is better? * If we need to record all changes made to the data by the user, how do we get the username in each of the case?
