Hello all, I've dusted down the list policy (next mail). I take responsibility for not posting that out more often, and I hope that doing so more often will get people the answer they need quicker and not irritate the 'older hands' who have seen some questions before just once too often :-) This is a technical forum for discussion and a community focussed around servlet technology. We none of us are experts in every aspect of servlet programming and I think we always have more to learn. I hope we can still continue to welcome new members to the technology and community. I'm sorry that some folks feel sometimes like they are unpaid servlet evangelists and we would all feel their loss if they because less active. I hope that a regular posting of the policy and my playing a more active role here will help this a little and encourage a prior search for answers before posting. I would rather not filter out email from people at this (Sun) end and hence restrict conversations in any way, but would rather encourage a couple more of the conventions and good practices that make this kind of community so very useful to each and every one of us. More recently, as was mentioned, we did set up [EMAIL PROTECTED] for discussion of both JSP and Servlet technologies for those of you that have a lot of experience in this field and wish to participate in more advanced discussions. Its something to consider joining in addition to this one if discussions of that nature are also of interest, though we anticipate and hope that SERVLET-INTEREST will continue to accommodate a large range of experience levels. - Danny Danny Coward Servlet Specification & Web Java Java Software Group, Sun Microsystems [EMAIL PROTECTED] ___________________________________________________________________________ To unsubscribe, send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] and include in the body of the message "signoff SERVLET-INTEREST".
