This is database dependent, so check your manuals. In Oracle:
SELECT * FROM SYS.V_$OPEN_CURSORS
(when logged in via an account with access to that particular view -
usually a DBA account) will give you a list of what's open, including SQL
statements. (Might be V_$OPEN_CURSOR...don't quite recall).
This really isn't a servlet question, though. There are lots of resources
on the web for answering database questions, and they should be your first
stop.
