Hi Anup:
We're using SpeechWorks 6.5 with WebSphere 3.0 servlets. Also look at
Nuance (Java API, Developer's Network).

Subject: Speech recognition
hi
We are planning to develop a speech recognition application for a portal.
The speech recognition part will be on the server. The client will be a
browser
with an applet/activex object in it to stream the audio to the server.
My question is
1)Is there any speech recogniton engine which we integrate with servlets?
(The current java Speech ApI implementation by IBM etc. seem to still in
Beta Stage).
2)Does the above mentioned engine provide any API /SDK?
regards
Anup
