When deploying a servlet application one has to include some
administration things such as reloading properties, checking
on status of the servers, seeing load and so forth. But
with having a farm of web servers it is not realistic to
have one administrator per web server and force support to
hop from one to another to change things.

The question then is how can this be achieved? Does anyone
have suggestions? Should the application be self
administrable? Meaning reloading properties when they
change, producing reports on certain hours?

thanks,
d.
