Hi Robert
Let me calmly say (god this is hard) that JWS is the most broken
webserver we ever used. JWS 1.1.3 (patched) would regularly die after 2
or 3 exceptions on any one of the servlets we ran. The very same servlets
run on Apache/JServ exceptions or not.
With approx 130,000 hits per day JWS would die daily (at least) Apache is
currently up 2 days due to a server reboot, but prior to that it was up
some 3 months (again because we rebooted for an upgrade 3 months ago).
JWS is dead, sun left it dead in the water when they shook hands with
netscape. Do yourself a favour .. get something else, it really is one of
the worse pieces of commercial software I have every used.
Sorry to be negative... but the facts is the facts.
Chris
