Applets are generally clients. Load the web page with the applet into
the browser.
The applet opens a connection to the servlet. The applet passes
information to the servlet.
The servlet accesses the database using jdbc. The servlet returns
information to the applet over the connection that was previously
opened.
And should you post to the list in the future, would you please take the
extra-microseconds necessary to spell should as "should" and not "shd."
